Spring Lambs - March/April/May 2024 due dates!

Ugh so I failed my one hour glucose, was 160, needed to be under 140, but it’s not enough to be diabetic, which is 200 or over.

So I have to do the three hour test while fasting for 8 hours, not looking forward to that! Ugh! I have to do it this coming Friday!

@Kiwiberry did you say you had one that got stuck I can't remember? My last was 9lb 7 and hid birth went great so I am hoping for a repeat performance!
Yeah, she was 10.5 lb at 37 weeks, the biggest baby I've had yet and no idea why. I've had gestational diabetes before and fortunately I didn't have it that time during that pregnancy. Let's just say her size is unexplained. It was really rough and traumatic experience for the both of us.

I had GD with my second baby and it was no fun. Good luck, and you'll most likely pass the 3 hour.

So I didn't get a proper sweep which was frustrating - I wasn't dilated enough to do it... She did say she did a bit of one but couldn't do a proper one just massaged the cervix basically. Sigh. Still waiting. It's my due date in like 5 mins time lol. She did say I was half way effaced and baby is 3/5 engaged so that's some progress at least x

Ugh so I failed my three hour glucose test, I have PCOS so this makes me insulin resistance and I’ve always been pre diabetic, I wonder if this plays into it?

Anyway I have to get a glucose tester and test four times a day and then see a diabetic specialist, ugh!

Im so sorry hun :hugs:. I had GD with my 2nd, no fun. Almost needed insulin and that's with following their strict diet plan.

Getting and NST and scan in a few days, then at 38 weeks they'll talk more about induction or a c section.

@josephine3 baby boy still comfy in there or has he decided to finally say hello?

So I’m 33 weeks and keep having the feeling of needing to poo, I’m on stool softeners and it’s been helping, but I feel like I need to poo then I walk into the bathroom sit down and then don’t have to go anymore lol, is this normal?

My baby is due in April and the second one is due on April 24th. My husband and I are very excited and looking forward to the baby. We have already contacted posh peanut customer service and ordered a new crib. We gave the past to my relatives. We have already bought almost everything for the baby

Totally normal. I get straight up diarrhea for like the last few months of pregnancy, and it never lets up until I give birth. I feel your pain!

Welcome to the group and congratulations!!

Hey ladies I'm 38 weeks today, been having some contractions all night, I really hope this is it this time and not false labor. I'm going to wait till they're closer together just to be sure before I go in.
