****October Testing Thread**** Pumpkin BFP Patch

@BabyBrain80 Tears.., reading your post just sent me blubbering. I lost my first born at 22wks but more like 20wk.. some thing wasn’t right and the docs didn’t believe me when I told them she was coming. Nothing they can do that early on to save the child.

It took a full decade for me to recover enough just to not cry when I mention her. Whatever you are going through now don’t feel bad. And don’t try to make your life fit into some one else’s so you don’t hurt them. Grieve. Do what you can handle and to heck with what you can’t. No one understands unless they have held that lil baby in their arms but left the hospital without them forever. Morn as long as you both need to… there is no expiration date on the pain of having lost a child.

@BabyBrain80 and @FTale i can’t even begin to imagine the grief you have and will continue to feel from your losses. Holding your babies and not bringing them home is something I can’t even bring myself to imagine. This is such a supportive place and I’m so thankful for you all. Well done for sharing too, that can’t be easy. Sending <3

End of cd15 for me, I was all over the map with my tempting and those cb digis with the flashy face just drove me nuts so I gave up on them! I always o cd13, occasionally 14, so will stick to that. Fx for 13 and then only 2 days between bd and o. Bd was basically midnight 11 so maybe I’ll count as 12 lol. Next month if I’m ttc again I’ll put a bit more effort in! Was so tired this weekend!

Your post made me tear up too! I cant even begin to imagine that pain and such loss. Thank you for sharing a little insight. And grief comes in waves there is no time frame to get over things. I want to write more but ive caught my daughters bug and my head isn't thinking right.

11dpo was bfn but only a short hold so will just test again with fmu and pray a line turns up. I have no idea how sensitive these cheapies are. Guessing 25.

Hope your test has a line in the morning alwaystheaunt. Do you also have your GP appt?

@BabyBrain80 and @FTale - You don't ever get over something like that, it never goes away, you just learn how to keep going. I'm so very sorry for your losses. :sad1: I had two 12 week miscarriages but that isn't as bad as 20wks..I can't even imagine.
Your'e both very strong but it's ok to not be strong at times as well :hugs::hugs:

Thank you all so much for your kind words, it does help and I'm so very sorry ladies for all of your losses too. No matter if they are early or late they are still in our hearts :hugs:

@FTale sending love and thank you xxx

@Lucy3 hoping that less effort = less stress and a great BFP! Fingers crossed, when will you test? Xx

@AlwaysTheAunt Hoping to see a wee line on your next test, good luck xx

@Deethehippy hope you are doing ok xx

@BabyBrain80 Yes, it does. My sis has sooo many questions. I love giving her advice because in the beginning I had no one to talk to. Couldn’t even read a pregnancy test that was positive… lol. I was pregnant for at least a week thinking the test was bfn. I still laugh. Other than the bfp the biggest sign was killer bbs. They were hitting everything OUCH and I just thought it was pre af pain. Duh…:dohh:

You got some awesome bding in. Timing right on. I am jealous. I got the night before O but O day…. I was not even having it. Only did twice this cycle and honestly with all that has been going on we both were spent….
FX!!

@Lucy3 Experimented with opk this morning and was shocked to see the test line basically non existent. I know I had a lot to drink at bedtime but LH lines are always so commonly there no matter what. Will use one again at noon to see if color comes back.

lol you calculated bd just like I do O time. I am like technically I am 7dpo at noon because I Od at noon on O day… that’s when I want to test especially early. Fix for your eggy to be doing it thing right now!

@AlwaysTheAunt Great big old hug to you. Hope you both get to feeling better soon. Fx for a line to show!

@Deethehippy Thank you sweet friend. You know it was a hard day for me yesterday. I was just barely keeping things together when I read @BabyBrain80 ’s post (hugs). I am going to mow the lawn today. Get some sun. Grass doesn’t really need it but the sweating might do my thighs some good :haha:

Hope you are doing ok today. Haven’t checked your blog yet. <3

Sorry if I missed anyone. Have a happy week!!:flow:

My heart goes out to you @babybears25 and @FTale.
I lost my first at 10+4 and the other losses were really early but to go through a loss at 20 weeks is just terrible.

Well 12dpo was a bfn and ive started spotting my regular pre-af spots. Maybe even slightly heavier than usual :( i have dr apt at 5:30pm.... and because im sick its now a phone consult. I think she wanted to do a pelvic exam but now thats off the cards. I want another baby but i really dont want to keep ttc.

So someone school me on the temp thing. Is there a certain range your temp should be at and is this only when ovulating

Everyone's baseline temp is different. You want to take it at the same time every day before you start moving to get a true reading. You'll know once you've ovulated by a marked rise (I think it's .03 if a degree but that could be totally off) that lasts for at least 3 days.

@AlwaysTheAunt Awww nooo , sorry you are having af. A pelvic would have been nice. Hard to get those in these days. Really hope you get better soon. Being sick and having af is total crap.

@realbeauty86 Get a bbt that read for ex. 97.34 not 97.3. Take your temp every morning as close to the same time when you first wake. Don’t drink or talk before doing so or your mouth temp will be inaccurate. You chart your temps to see if it rises indicating Ovulation which should be rising by 2dpo.

That’s my spill in it anyway lol… Hope it helps some.

Does anyone else get ewcm after ovulation? I’ve had it for 6 days now and I’m pretty sure I’ve already ovulated. It’s happened other cycles too, is it just left over and still coming out maybe?

@AlwaysTheAunt hope your appointment goes well this afternoon. So annoying you can’t attend in person. Will she have you blood test results?

@realbeauty86 i temp some cycles, it’s a bit stressful but can be useful to see what’s going on. When I did it with my ds it showed that I ovulated right when I got my first positive opk so I had been missing it. Fertility friend is a good site to use and get some info on

@Lucy3 yeah she should have them, bloods was wed last week :) should get ultrasound results too so fingers crossed. I just find it ironic that you cant see a dr because you're sick... thats the whole point lol

@Lucy3 Hey, only up until 3dpo if I do. This cycle has been very different. Almost like I am not in tww though I know I ovulated. Ovulation hurts worse after going through retrieval. But if it means my ovaries are more likely to release my eggs properly- I’ll take the pain

Oh wow, just realized I didn’t do a test today.. lol. I guess I will in the morning. I have been doing opks though each day and my LH is being weird. Like non existent to suddenly there????

Anyhoo, hoping Tomorrow has great weather like today so me and dad can bumble around town early before the crowds come out. <3

Let us know how you go with your appt alwaystheaunt. I almost hope she tells you something like your progesterone is a tad low and give you supplements which then gives you your bfp next month. That’s what happened to my sil, the next month she got progesterone it stuck!

@FTale hope the weather is nice for you! I think I also get cm for a few days after o, it throws me a bit! What dpo are you now?

Hello everyone! Sorry I’ve been MIA.

so...I did not expect this...almost 2 years of trying for our second and I believe we got our BFP finally...

I am cautiously optimistic. We literally had an appointment to go see the fertility doctor later this month. I’m still in shock...

I was feeling lethargic and dizzy. And had an odd taste it my mouth and felt a bit nauseous. But I also had pelvic cramps so attributed that to AF starting. But I just was like what the heck, I’ll take a test tonight. And low and behold...it was positive! Here are the 2 I took. I think I’ll try an FRER tomorrow.

Sending lots and lots of baby dust to all you ladies!!
