Hello everyone,
I’ve suddenly feeling really scared about child birth.... I’m 19 weeks pregnant with my second child so have been through labour before but my son was 6 weeks early which made the birth and first few weeks or even months very intense. My labour was quite fast too so it all happened so quickly and I must have had 15 doctors/nurses in the room when I gave birth.
Not only am I worried about another premature labour I am very worried about complications in terms of my health.... when I had my son my placenta was retained and after a natural birth I had to have a spinal to have the placenta removed. I’ve heard hopper stories of complications to do with retained placenta. My sister almost bleed to death as the same happened and she wasn’t properly monitored, it was only when a nurse went to check her over hour later after birth she noticed a huge clot inside.
I know I am being paranoid but is it normal to feel like this with your second baby?
