Hi all,

I am 36 years old and new here, just got my BFP yesterday at 9dpo, was a very slight line, this morning at 10dpo it was darker. Fingers crossed it continues to go that way!

I am going to call my doctor next week to make an appointment. I have been tracking my ovulation through temping and OPK's and I ovulated earlier than usual this cycle, CD 11. I know doctors typically go by LMP date and use CD 14 as ovulation day, but wouldn't that then throw my due date off? I'm not sure if I should tell them an earlier LMP date so that it will be more accurate with tracking my pregnancy.

I’d assume they’d be able to get a better assessment when they actually measure the baby during the ultrasound but I think telling them is a good idea. But knowing doctors, so many seem to just want to “go by the book” instead of acknowledging any differences so they may still give you the wrong due date. But if you know when you ovulated and if you know exactly when you had sex (unless you guys did it a lot) it might be easy to narrow it down exactly.
