What were your best buys for baby?

What cant you live without?

:D

my changing unit. i still use it to dress Dior on even though its only for up to 12months.

I adored Jacks baby bath seat from Mamas and papas
https://www.mamasandpapas.co.uk/product_details.php?id=4552499&type=I
It has a non slip teddy shape on it that you can't see in pic, got all money back when i sold it

I loved Jacks Bumbo too, best thing invented in my opinion, though no way will it last to 15 months like it says, Jack was out of his ages ago
Again made money back when i sold it
they really hold there value

Seren's crib - got it for £35 brand new and she was able to sleep in it til she was 6 months. Looked gorgeous too.

Also her nappies - all of them.

Medula breast pump - bit noisy but did the job.

Tripptrapp highchair, she loves sitting at the table and its a lot easier for me to store in my house.

My best buy was a nappy bin. So many people told me not to get one cos they were a waste of money and to just chuck em in a normal bin but they are so great ...and smell free! The liners ARE a bit expensive though :?

Milk formula dispensers. Great for days out, night feeds and when LO goes to stay with his nanna! Saves you having to buy the seperate cartons which (if you have to buy them all the time) can work out quite expensive!

Cloth nappies (especially the Terries)
Changing station
This thick, comfy playmat that's wipe clean - fantastic for nappy free time

if you have a colicy baby Dr Browns bottles are ace yes they are fidlywhen sterilising but its worth it

and we have this baby bath its ace

Changing station - although I bought the travel cot that has the station on it with nappy stacker, & tray that holds wipes, cream etc so its been used for that whist in moses then onto a bed for when she stays with her nanny etc also useful for playpen!

[Edit I take this back - it was handy when we didn't have a room for Caitlin but afterwards a normal £20 travel cot would have done]

Angelcare monitors with sensor mat

Bumbo seat she sis up with us now either whist we're at the desk, in the bath, doing things in one room so she can see us and I see future potential for eatting snacks on (bought tray), sititng with us for dinner.

Lotty ladybird play mat - nice cushy soft and she adores the toys but we did take down the bars - she wasn'tkeen on that!

Bumbo seat + tray

swing

Tummy play mat + rainforest playmat

Sound soothing thingy that vibrates and has a hearthbeat sound and it's also voice activated.

Tommee Tippee SureSound ultimate monitor - am finally able to relax at night now. :happydance:

I didn't actually buy this it was given to me but I have found it so useful thought I would mention it to you.

It's called a "V-pillow" (basically a big pillow in the shape of a V)

My mum gave one to me and I have had loads of use out of it.

When I was in the latter stages of pregnancy it was very handy to use in bed to help me get to sleep by having it between my legs or sort of resting my bump on it.

I also used it to prop up baby for tummy time and sitting up.

Post all that I've been using it in bed again as my back is still not right from being pregnant.

I'd highly reccomend getting one.

Best buy has to be baby sleeping bag/ grobag. Use when bit older mine started using at 3 months, complete god send as from this age they kick around so much and will kick off covers. After getting them to sleep last thing you want is baby waking from cold!
Don't need to buy expensive 'brand' ones as many shops do own brand ones now

our best buys have been:
- our bugaboo pram
- her playmat
- her vibrating bouncer and her chair that plays music, shes not too keen on her swing :dohh:

Although a BIG thanks to many of you girls on here .....

Playpen ...this has to be one of the best things we have for Caitlin - ITS FAB!

Jumperoo , dont know what i would do without it!
