No gestational sac seen at 5 weeks- one sided pain

Hi all

I’ve been experiencing a sharp pain on left side so spoke with fertility clinic who did bloods and agreed to scan me.

I’m 5 weeks today no sac seen just thick lining. No bleeding just the sharp pains. Pregnancy test is still positive and will attach. Very anxious and worried that something isn’t right. Anyone had Similar and got a positive outcome? I’m really stressed and upset. IVF pregnancy first round

They did a scan and checked ovaries etc. he said for where I am it could just be too early. Would they actually see anything at this stage for ectopic? Due tubes show on transvaginal? I’ve likely got low and slow rising HCG again like with my first but I’m sure with my first I saw a sac at this point. Very very anxious x

They did transvaginal scan so did check ovaries as well,

didn’t mention ectopic but I did…. He said that he was expecting to see nothing at this point as it’s early. I’m just worried.

I’ll get blood results tomorrow re draw on Thursday and then they will check if it’s doubling or not. Nothing about another scan just that they will get a plan of action together by Friday x

Still in limbo… the pregnancy progressed at my scan Tuesday with a sac and now a yolk sca. They think they could see a tiny fetal pole but it’s a little too soon. So I have a repeat scan on Tuesday. They are still worried about it being too low in uterus but it’s another long wait and see scenario…

Is there a chance you mite be earlier than you first thought?
Like was you doing opks and temping?
If you ovulated later then that mite be why it’s still not giving you a clear answer right now.

Hi no it was IVF and a day 2 transfer. It could have implanted a little later like a day or two maybe. But no it’s pretty much set in stone with ivf, know exactly what day the egg fertilised and when it went back in.

I have a retroverted uterus and they do struggle to get a decent view even with a transvaginal and where it’s implanted. Apparently in the endometrium but the lower end which has caused them concern. The dreams at the moment are crazy. One minute I’m dreaming I’m having a girl the next I’m dreaming I’m bleeding.

dreading tomorrow that my world may come crashing down!
No bleeding, only limited pain now x

Update: had my 7 week viability scan… fetus with a HB seen 135bpm so glad but still so nervous…

still a little low down in uterus but ivf clinc seemed happy to discharge me to midwife care… booking in appointment on 19th April. Please keep growing bubba…
