Has anyone ever had their baby's heart rate appear to go down, but then pick up again on the next scan? :(

I just posted a moment ago because I just got back from an ultrasound where the baby's heart rate dropped from 111 at 6 weeks to 60 at 7 weeks. But it's measuring perfectly on target. Never had a drop of spotting.

I am worried sick. :nope:

Hiya,

Have you been checked for the Anti-Ro antibody as that can cause slow fetal heartbeat. (I have anti-ro)

You can have anti-ro if you have an autoimmune condition, lupus, psoriasis, sjordens, coeliac.

If you do have this anti-body then the slow heartrate can be corrected at birth and is not a risk to the pregnancy.

I'm sorry I cant be more help!!

Delly xx

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I am seven weeks in and my ultrasound today showed a heart rate of only 99 BPM -- last week it was 119 BPM; I'm really nervous about this. Did you learn other information of reasons heart rates can drop? do they ever go back up?

bostonblonde, if you are still around, what happened? I am going through this now.

Hi I know this post is really old but I am going through the same thing right now. 5 weeks 5 days heartbeat was 110 and today 7 weeks 3 days heart rate is 76. Everything else looks perfect though. If you get this message I could really use encouragement or at least hear someone's story of how it went
