Hi @Becca_89 all good here. Have an OB appointment tomorrow which I’m sure will be uneventful. Just feeling tired! And I’ve started snoring like nothing else lol. How are you?

Hello,

how was your appointment? gosh the tiredness is beyond, never remember feeling this tired before!! Glad you are managing a deep sleep though, positive to snoring lol, as long as you don't wake yourself up!
I am ready for baby to come, both physically and mentally, but perhaps not ready as in baby things ready lol.
Getting the birthing ball out next week but also thinking about packing hospital bag. Are you all set? xx

Wow becca look how close you are now love. You must be so excited

I know, I can't believe how fast it has gone! I am soooo ready now too! Waddling around and ready to get him here!
How are you doing? I try to keep updated on the testing thread, but I get so tired and forgetful xxx

Heyyyyy!!

So weird but for some reason i stopped getting notifications from the thread so thought no one was active! So came on to post and see if I’d get a reply and a couple of you have been active!

I’m entering 30 weeks and feeling HUGE this time. I feel as big as I did with the other two when I delivered!! So feeling this little ones going to be bigger than my 2 and 3kg babies. We found out we are expecting are 3rd girl!

how is it going for all of you? You seem very close to your due dates now!

Hi @swedengirl so nice to hear from you! I get you I feeling big with the third - my belly is measuring so big now which is funny and I felt so small during the 20 weeks period.

@Becca_89 how are you? Hope you’re doing ok, can’t believe how close we are now!

I’m having weekly monitoring (started 2 weeks ago) which is good as it’s always nice to know thighs are going well and my OB is in the hospital so I just got up 2 floors and get it done there then go to my appointment. Bump is big and because I have an autoimmune condition I think that’s why I’m having monitoring. It was a bit stressful last week as he must have been in a sleep cycle but then woke up thankfully! I have to say I get a bit anxious on the ctg so my heart rate and the baby’s sometimes meet up and then the beeps start, I need to try and relax! Other than that all good, 2 weeks and 1 day till my c section, eek!

@swedengirl
So glad to hear all is well and now the final stretch for you. Sounds like bubs may be a good size. Congratulations on baby being a girl. I’m sure the next few weeks will fly.

All you ladies pregnancies have flown.

@Lucy3
Eeeek 2 weeks that’s so soon. Hope your all ready. How’s the weather there.
It’s gonna get really really hot here agian in England from Wednesday onwards and I’m dreading it. I hate the heat.
When I had covid we had the 2 hottest days on record ever. it reached 42c so over a hundred.
Man it was intense.
I know other countries get it hotter but the thing is here it’s so so humid so it feels so much hotter and we don’t have any air con in our homes so our homes are like a sauna. It’s horrible.
Ure in your winter now. If I’m right and soon to be spring.

it’s always so hard to get my head around the fact that when it’s Christmas here its cold and in other countries it’s really hot.

Hi @Suggerhoney yep you’re right coming into spring here, my fav season! It’s just starting to feel a bit lighter in the mornings and some blossom starting to appear. I’m so happy to see it, it’s been a really cold miserable winter. Funny you should ask if I have everything ready, I’m currently sitting in the baby shop car park about to pick up a bassinet. Popped the car seat in over the weekend so I’m finally getting myself sorted lol. Hope it doesn’t get too hot for you over there, I lived in England for a year many years ago and distinctly remember the hot days. I feel like no one is prepared for the heat as there’s not much air conditioning etc. glad you’re in the 2ww!

Hello,

lovely to hear from you, Congratulations on finding out you are having a girl, how did your otther 2 take the news? are they excited?

I am good, had my midwife appointment today, I was spoken in details about my partner delivering the baby and the steps etc as I was fast with my last baby, I almost cried.
Otherwise I amgood, tired and not enjoying the warmth.

Hello,

I am good thanks, also on the weekly monitoring. I am so ready to have him now, ai would love to have a set date, I bet it is lovely. Do you go into hospital for the monitoring?

Gosh I bet that is a worry with babies heart rate! were your others delivered by C section?x x

@Lucy3 oh my gosh youre so close! How Exciting to have a date!

@Becca_89 haga my oldest surprised me and had a change of tune and said she was sad it wasn’t a baby brother! Totally shocked me as I thought she’d be devastated if we had a boy! My youngest is cute and rubs my belly saying baby sister now, also brings me a doll and gets me to breastfeed “baby sister”! But I think my youngest will struggle once she’s here!

We akso got talked through the steps of home delivery when I had my second given that my first came quickly. Luckily we didn’t need them! But have a feeling this squirt will come fast as my Braxton hicks are really really intense!

@Suggerhoney oh I was in the UK for that heatwave and I REALLY struggled. The heat was so so intense!

It’s the humidity here. It just makes it feel even hotter.

definitely looking forward to autumn. That’s my favourite time of the year,
I really would love a autumn or winter due date. If im pregnant this cycle my due date would be April 29th and I am induced around 37 weeks so would have baby early April which wouldn’t be too bad.
But after this cycle then I’ll be getting to those summer due dates.
I really wanted to avoid having a summer due date but at the end of the day a summer due date is way better than no due date at all,

It’s been so hot here in south west England again. And it’s gonna be hot for the next few days. 35c it’s hideous.

How are u gals coping ?

ooo its so hard to know. How far away are you from your hospital?
I ended up having a growth scan yesterday and all was good. I think it was the way that the different midwife measured me.
Aww 3 girls will be lovely though xxx

I have to say a May baby was a lot easier pregnancy wise, I can imagine April to be lovely.

I have been swimming in the sea this morning and lots of fans, my only coping strategy lol. How are you all doing? x

oh lovely do u live close to the sea? I live in a town in Wiltshire which is the south west of England do no sea. The heat is awful I can’t wait for this heatwave to be over and hope and pray there won’t be another.

I worked out my due date would be 29th April if I’m pregnant now. I’m 8dpo so will know soon. Just pray if I am it sticks I think April would be a nice time to have a baby.
Be nice not being heavily pregnant in the heat.

Luckily we are not too far away. Only 20 minutes. The problem is my OH works about an hour away so depending on the time of day it begins that might be the issue. Both my labours started around 16.00 with the girls. So hoping around the same this time as he’d be leaving work then anyway. He will also look at working from home as much as possible.
I was told I’d have growth scans due to my PreE and IUGR history with DD1 but they’ve now decided unless I show any signs with blood pressure, protein etc there is no need until 36 weeks. Not sure how I feel about it, but trusting they know what they are doing!

@Suggerhoney my family leaves in Somerset so not far from you! An April bsby is lovely. DD2 was April and was perfect time as could be out lots with my oldest at parks etc and no summer heat at all.

Its been super hot here in Sweden. If literally sat in the shade with a fan in me whilst my girls play in the paddling pool. Not sure how I’d survive otherwise!

Hi everyone! This heatwave has been ridiculous! I have my baby shower coming up next Saturday so thankfully its due to cool a little!

Hope everyone is doing well?

31 weeks this week and feeling it. Baby is currently Transverse and its really stressing me out. I just want baby to go head down. Ive got my gym ball on the go so doing bouncing and circles. Figure of 8’s with that. Anyone else experienced this? And what was you convinced helped you? I know that this isnt a concern until 36/37 weeks but i may not reach that point as i had my little boy at 35 weeks last pregnancy so really want to try get this baby turned asap Xxxxx

Hello,
lovely to hear from you!
the heatwave is a killer!!
I was transverse in my 28 weeks appointment and changed by my next appointment, I didn't do anything different, but he has stayed head down since. I hope that you managed to get baby head down by your next appointment!

@swedengirl
Oo im glad you are close, hopefully it will all time well! is the hospital in between you and OH work? or the other way?
we are only 10 minutes away
and fortunate my parents live on the next street to have the others. I had lots of tightenings earlier, but they have stopped sadly. I was hoping today was the day! xxx

It’s lovely in wales too. Yes the army base is over here that’s not to far.

10dpo and bfn so think I am out again. Feeling pretty bummed tbh. Nearly 7 months ttc and only a chemical and a MC to show for it so far.
Fed up.

Harleys first birthday is fast approaching. He will be 1 on September 5th. It’s flown.
Then my Tommy is 3 on September 23rd . Wonder if I’ll end up with another September baby lol.
