So as some of you know I already had my 2 vaccines prior to getting pregnant. All seems fine after those thankfully .

I am due to get the booster next week and was wondering if any of you ladies have had the booster while pregnant or know of anyone else ?

Keep going back and forth with my thinking !

I'll be following this, I've also had 2 jabs but no booster yet, wanted to wait until after 12 weeks but now that's passed and I've still not been...

I’m just so apprehensive about getting the booster and something going wrong but then I am worried about not getting it and something going wrong !
Not to mention I’ve got 3 other little ones to consider .
My heads about to explode ..

Same! It's hard. Midwife has recommended I get it but I just keep putting it off. I work in a hospital (direct patient care) so am at quite high risk too :dohh:

I didn't get the booster yet (hasn't been the minimal interval yet since my 2nd dose) but I did get my 2nd dose pregnant. I was about 15 weeks when I got it.

I was tired. My arm hurt. Other than that, I was okay!

Oh yeh for sure can see why your midwife wants you to get it . Mine basically said she can’t advise either way .. helpful hahaha !

Thank you for your post it’s very reassuring ! X

Hello, I am 4/5 weeks pregnant and I had my booster last night. i was given a leaflet about it and was told all should be fine as it’s the same vaccine I had before I was pregnant.

So far everything is ok, I am happy to report back in a week or so to confirm. I have a sore arm, just slightly dead and that is my only side effect xx

Thank you !

I had both doses in my second trimester. Had I been due for my booster in this pregnancy I would have gotten it, but I wasn’t due to get it for another month. I ended up getting covid at 38 weeks instead. I didn’t get too sick (which I attribute to my vaccine), but it sucked and now I need to be on blood thinners for the rest of my pregnancy and for some time after giving birth. Having had my first two doses in pregnancy and covid in pregnancy I’d take the vaccine over covid every time.

Thank you so much for your reply . Sorry you caught covid before being able to get the booster ! Sucks you had to have blood thinners too. Glad your well and hopefully baby will be born soon ! Xxx
