metformin success

Hello, I’m not sure if you’ll get to read this but I have a metformin success story!

I was overweight and it was recommended I lose weight in order for my conception chances to be higher. So I started a diet and metformin. I lost a total of about 25 lbs., and 3 months later after my Weightloss, and still on metformin, I conceived my very healthy daughter. She is 4 years old now.

Now, I am back to TTC#3. I went to my OBGYN and was put on metformin, my goal is to lose 15 lbs this time. However, I also asked for clomid because I’ve been NTNP for the past 2 years (not on metformin) and nothing. So right now I’m on CD 5 of my cycle but decided to wait till next month’s cycle to go on clomid. In the meantime, I’ll be working Ivón my Weightloss this month and hope metformin helps me conceive this month instead, otherwise, I have the clomid on hand for my next cycle.
