Nickname

Maybe just name him Ozzy? That’s a super cute name! But I think just using the O for the nickname instead of an A is really fine too. Usually when you’re signing up for preschool or school there will be a spot on the form for “preferred name” and you can just put it in there so teachers will know the spelling.

Not odd. You can also call him phonetically Ozzy but type it Aussie/Auzzy if if bothers you. I mean how do we get Bill from William or Dick from Richard? But Ozzy can be a name as well. I just don’t see an issue personally with Austin nicknamed Auzzy/Ozzy
