I just learned today that the Covid vaccine can alter your menstrual cycle. I was just wondering if anyone else has been effected by getting vaccinated. I'm on month 2 of a longer cycle and not ovulating like usual or starting period like usual.

I'm due my 2nd vaccine in 3 weeks. My cycles are longer since having my 1st. Only by a few days. I would never have connected the 2 if I hadn't seen this x

I just happened to be talking to a coworker today that mentioned it. I hadn't made the connection either. I felt like I was beginning to go crazy. I was going to contact my doctor soon if it continued.

I have pcos and gained weight so assumed it might be that or my age messing mine around haha now im going to blame the vaccine.

Can you tell me where you got the info from? I am finding my cycle ok so far but have reason to believe that the vaccine has affected me in other ways.

My coworker said she heard it on the news today. I haven't done thorough research on it, but just did a simple Google search. It sounds like it's so new that studies aren't confirming this to be true but that many women are speaking out saying that they have noticed a change.

I've heard this too. I wonder whether they will come up with a link between it

Update... af showed 10 days later than expected after the 2nd shot.

Might it also depend on vaccine brand?

I’ve had my first one Pfizer a few weeks ago. Period is late. Been pretty regular for months now.

had two faint lines on pregnancy test yesterday and this morning it’s negative!

heads all over the place now and saw your thread and wondering if the jab has affected my cycle too x

I had astra zenica, no difference to my cycle (and I'm 52!)

I had moderna and I definitely think it affected my cycle. First shot my period came really early. Second shot it was a week late.

I got Pfizer and my cycle was off both months that I got my shots. This month I think I'm back to normal and ovulating on time.

I had my first dose of Pfizer yesterday and I had some spotting yesterday and today. Haven’t had a period since November last year. Now I’m wondering if the jab has anything to do with it. :-k

I had AZ on 9th May and my period has started earlier this month  not sure if they are linked or not tbh

I am wondering too. My period only started again 6 months ago after giving birth in July, but it has been regular. After each Pfizer dose it's been really late. I want to start ttcing again and it made me really worried that my cycles are off and I won't be able to predict my ovulation. Uff. On the other hand I really wanted to get the vaccine before I start trying again.

I didn’t get the shot but have heard of shedding of the vaccine can affect others cycles as well. Mine has been so out of whack for like a couple of months now. I’ve been spotting in between. The first one that was off, it was late.. I took like 5 pregnancy tests and all negative. It finally came on like cd 31. After that, every cycle got shorter and shorter with the most recent one being 17 days. I don’t think I’m ovulating either. I’m hoping I see some normalcy soon so I can figure out what’s going on. I’ve always had regular cycles and only missed 1 period when I wasn’t pregnant so this is way out of the norm for me!:?
