Hi Ladies,

I had a CS performed Nov 1st last year so I'm roughly 6 months PP. Had no issues and it seemed to heal great in good time. Fast forward to now and I started experiencing some pain this week, which got seemingly worse last night. It's not unbearable but it's weird and tough to describe. It feels sharp and stabby but also a bit dull or just "there". It's on one side and there's a definite lump there. I always figured it was just healing in such a way but it's like there's a dent where my scar is on the left side with my belly kinda popping out above.

If I push on it, it's a little tender and quite firm vs the other side of my scar. It also goes a bit further on the left than the right side, which I think is a result of him being a bit tough to wiggle out.

I've also been feeling like I've been peeing more than usual lately, though I have also been trying to drink more fluids. I feel like I had better bladder control a month ago than I do now.

I am going to see my GP on Tuesday and it'll probably be another week before I can see my OB.

Anyways, wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this with theirs and what it was? Or if there are any questions anyone can think of that would be useful for me to ask when I go?

Sounds to me like you may have a hernia at your scar. Maybe it never healed properly inside and the lump you feel is an organ pushing against it and when it gets stuck it causes you pain? I am no medical expert though so it might not be that at all. I hope your GP can help you!

Thanks! I never thought of a hernia so definitely something to ask about.
