I use HiPP follow on milk, the ready made tastes nice it's the consistency of cow milk and has a sweet taste. The powdered kind tastes horrible and bitter when mixed with cold water. It's different with warm water though it's a little sweet but still slightly bitter and watery. I won't give anything to LO that I haven't tasted myself
I also have to taste everything to check the temperature.
im the same and sometimes i wish i wasnt like that lol Formula is nasty! lol

thank you so mich for your replies everybody. before i had a baby i also thought all babies love milk and never thought id have one who hated it. she has been like this since 5 momths which happened to be when we weaned her (by recommendation from pediatrician and dietician) so i think she realised there was more out there.
in fact i never realised how difficult feeding a baby would be even the weaning. how naive we can be!

I use the 1st milk as I found the follow on to smell and taste a bit fishy i did a taste test and it def tasted the nicest to me.
What feeding issues have you got hun?

like Gingerspice i always taste alfies bottle before i give it him to check temp..and aptimal i have to say is quite tasty

I think Aptamil 1st milk is actually quite nice, kinda sweet, but my Lo had to change to Aptamil comfort and I cannot believe she drinks it because it is vile!! I tried her on pepti junior this week which is a semi elemental milk and that tastes like a thin comfort milk with a bitter aftertaste...yuk!!!
SMA have changed their formula!
it was the sweetest and best using 1st milk pro. Now my babies won’t eat it and it tastes revolting like off milk! I’m very annoyed! My twin girls are 2 months old and been poorly and premature so this is an added stress and discomfort for me and them! I’m very upset as no doubt it’s a way to save sma money!! I will try the hipp and Altimal milk tomorrow and I hope to goodness my girls like it!
