I’m so nauseous and I know I need to eat but absolutely everything smells like ✨ ass ✨ and I don’t want it

what are y’all eating? Any ideas for something light that my stomach can handle? I’ve never felt so sick for so long.

Toast toast toast and noodles!

I found I had to eat little and often even though I didn't always want to, because if I got too hungry then I would be too nauseated to eat and then feel even worse and eat less. Foods like dry toast helped :)

I second noodles. I practically lived off these with one of my babies... can’t remember which one!

At the moment I’m eating wholewheat spaghetti and cheese for lunch because. That’s really the only meal I have. During the evening I might have some toast or some crumpets with Marmite and peanut butter (not together, although that was a thing for me with DS3).

Eating small but frequent meals (you shouldn’t really leave it longer than 3 hours on a normal day) as Bev said too is what most advise and works great for many. I found with some of my babies that worked wonders but sometimes not like with DD1 I couldn’t eat anything but dry crackers! I can’t remember what I ate aside from noodles now

I've been eating noodles to.
My appetite went out the window about a week and a half ago.i get thirsty but just not hungry.

I’ve been having tons of toast too. It’s not my norm at all but I’m craving carbs like mad! Toast, pasta, muffins, oh my.

I had tomato soup (Heinz, of course) and chicken spread sandwiches last night. It was my meal of choice when I was a little kid and I felt ill. And honestly it was the first thing I've really enjoyed in weeks. Might even have it again tonight.

I've gone off pretty much everything. Including tea (I think that's what landed me in A&E with a major attack of hives so I'm staying well away) so I am utterly devastated about that. Also cheese which is my absolute staple food and usually goes in everything.

For a few days I liked pot noodles, now I hate them. Can't stand chocolate any more. Really not keen on chicken or ham. The smell of beef makes me feel so ill that I cant imagine eating it. Tuna can get back in the fucking sea. Broccoli turns my stomach. Ice cream gives me the chills. I ate like a whole watermelon in my fifth week and never want to see one again. Dry crackers are the devil. Ginger in all its forms can go fuck itself. Crisps are a no go. I've even gone off toast.

And frankly I'm pretty miserable about it all, if you can't tell from my ranting.

OMG Lone. You’ve got me crying over here!!! You’re going to be out of options soon!!

Hahahaha I love it!!!

I don’t even have any suggestions!!

I know I'm in 2nd tri but hey why not post anyway :).

I've started craving chicken marsala since I first tried it last night. I've honestly been turned off of most things except healthy type cereal, yogurt, fresh salad, and spaghetti oddly enough. I can't have that every night so it's mostly cereal & yogurt lol.

I've found a temporary saviour. God bless chocolate milk. Ahhhh.

Guaranteed I'll hate it by tomorrow.

I’ve just been eating when I can. Hummus and ham is a current favourite. Also white bread toasted with jam or butter

I've found a winner: popcorn! An absolute joy. Light as hell.

Obviously I can't live on the stuff indefinitely but for now, it's great.

Switched my preggo vitamins to the gummy kind too and they are pleasant enough and staying down. So I'm sure baby is getting what it needs, even if the all-popcorn diet isn't floating its boat.

Buttery stovetop popped popcorn was my go-to with both my pregnancies -- but at the end, when I had absolutely unending hunger. high volume low calorie. lol. Glad the new vitamins are working out!

It's my birthday on Sunday and I've got a fabulous afternoon tea being delivered tomorrow as a treat... seemed a good idea a month or so ago but now I'm very worried I'm just going to hate absolutely all of it

Sounds lovely :) I hope you manage to have a good time :hugs:

I can only eat sandwiches, toast, crisps and cereal.

Loving melon and mango ATM too.

I'm 6+2days, morning sickness started over a week ago. Haven't actually been sick but constantly feeling sick and head In the toilet...the joys x

Aww bless ya. I truly wish I could say it will pass soon.
I'm coming up 13 weeks and if anything, it's got worse. Not what you want to hear I know!
But I suppose its more tolerable in that I've got used to it, so theres that. And for most it does pass by 12 weeks ish, so here's hoping you are lucky enough to escape the worst of it. With my first I only had about three weeks of nausea, and then I felt awesome all the rest of the time...
