what Christmassy Thing Have You Done Today?

Thank you all, I am feeling a bit better now. I hope you other ladies will feel better soon too!
I hung the outside wreath on the door and bought a simple fir branch wreath and made my own advent wreath for a fraction of the price they usually cost when they are already decorated. I usually have red candles but couldn't find any but I am quite happy with the white ones now.
I also bought a bag of Pfeffernüsse, the taste is so Christmassy to me
I had 4 already and I doubt the bag will last the weekend lol

We put the tree up!! Everything else is still up the loft but this is a new temporary tree and new decorations so when they arrived me & Rio decided to do it whilst daddy and niko were out!

dh is very insistent that they are for after Christmas though which seems bizarre to me as they get so much chocolate and things at Christmas they won't want to eat the ones on the tree. But he was the one who wanted to buy them so whatever

It occurred to me today that advent starts on Tuesday, only a problem because I hadn't made the girls makeup advent calendars yet! Spent a couple of hours at it this evening and have finished

It always seemed bizzare to me too when my mum used to make us wait until Christmas. We got so much chocolate for Christmas that the tree chocolates just weren't as exciting by that point!

I bought chocolates for the tree this year. I think a few have gone already. I can remember my nan having some on hers and having to hunt to look for them. I may buy some more for ours but I wouldn't expect them to last until Christmas.
