*October Testing Thread*

Oh wow Dee I was going to ask if you tested heheh! I didn’t. Proud of myself lol!
I have to run to the dollar store tomorrow for some Halloween supplies and I hope to pick up a few tests to add to this months arsenal. I want to make it until at least Wednesday or Thursday!!

I have zero control but was only using the cheap thin One Step IC's, I have a ton of them but I've only got 2 x Frer and 2 x Clearblue as my hardcore confirmation tests so wont use them until Friday because FF says I am 5DPO so before Friday would be a waste for them! The cheapies feed my POAS addiction but I don't expect to see much on them early on.

Im so sorry @Suggerhoney and @Hevalouaddict. This year has been rotten.

Less sunshine and more mental stress from Covid really packed a punch. I am 43 and always said that if I wasn't pregnant by then I would stop trying.

And let nature take its course but that thought always troubled me. And i didnt think I could really stop trying until this month.

I have been so sick that all I want is to be well again. And then just not worry at all about ttcing if not preggers.

@Suggerhoney I don't know why your bubbas aren't sticking but your eggs are good enough to click with sperm but implantation seems to be a hard one for them. I dont know if its blood flow or progesterone but ur docs need to run a few more tests before calling it a day. Praying for you.

@Hevalouaddict Been about that long for me too so I understand. But Ive always felt there is an egg in there somewhere with my name on it. Just have to keep digging. I know I cant make you keep ttcing but if you do we are here for you.

thought I’d pop in to say hello. I took some time off from the forum because life is just crazy right now. I’m so happy for those who got their BFP. Sorry to those who git BFN.

So very sorry to those with losses. I’ve very fortunately never had a loss myself so I can only imagine. Take care of yourselves.

BFN for me this month. No surprise, but we DTD 3 different days within the ovulation window..but nada. I’m having my annual check up next month or so and hope to get some answers. I know I ovulate but obviously it just isn’t working out. But I’m still trying to be hopeful. My PMS was also horrible this month. Has acne like a teenager and moody like heck. Feeling better now though.

I often wonder how much stress really does play a part though. I have been so stressed out from work and just everything going on in the world right now. Trying to take time to go on a long walk each day just to destress and get some activity. I find I just don’t have the motivation to exercise at all.

Ftale - didn’t realise you was 43....feeling less alone knowing there are some post 40 ladies around me. I am 47 in February....if anyone wants to share their ages that could be cool to know. I always said I’d give up by 47 but I know I’ll only give up when I hit menopause or stop ovulating and it’s not actually possible. I also worry about my health...it’s interesting that a good few of us have IBS ..I wonder if gut health affects TTC.
I have chronic vestibular migraine, IBS and asthma so get a lot of day to day niggles and fatigue..I feel perfectly capable of being a mother but maybe my body had other ideas.

Nothing much to report for me this morning, sore boobs and a touch off nausea in the am’s but all usual for me at this point. Should know for sure by Friday.

Hey, yes, its in my Siggy but you wont see unless on desktop. I was talking to my mom last night and she said if circumstances were dif she would have wanted another at 45 so she is rooting for me.

For me my diverticulotis is what has been kicking my butt. Hurts like a hot poker to an open wound. My version of IBS at least spares me the runs but the intestinal spasms...oh girl, no, just no.

AND yes, bad gut does effect ttcing. I read up on it and have been struggling to find the right combo of supplements. We don't process all the nutrients we need and the pain causes so much stress that our bodies put forth all of its efforts towards it instead of our reproduction area.

Well, if not preggy this cycle hoping when we try again I will have an easier time of it. I do have a feeling I might be preggers but my trigger shot test out was lighter this morning instead of darker.

Will watch it closely but if no bfp by Halloween, af will show and my cheeks will be full of chocolate and pie...got a hankering for sweets lol.

Have a smashing time on vacation. My weekend felt long so looking forward to work this week. Gonna be busy in about 3 hours

My mum and dad don’t know we are TTC, we always said after the twins that would be our lot but then I got so broody. I was hoping to surprise them with a BFP but it hasn’t happened yet. I know my mum would be thrilled although she had been going on about menopause to me recently lol

My IBS is cramps and diarrhoea (TMI) although I don’t loose weight! Luckily most of it happens before midday for some reason, so I plan trips out for the latter part of days during a flare.

Just tested - 6/7DPO - BFN..know it's early but still makes me feel out this cycle.

@Deethehippy Hate that you have to go through it but at least you know when its gonna hit. Hugs

I wanted to surprise my mom too but we talk about everything when we do and a few times over the years it has come out and more recently. I do not talk about it frequently though.

6/7 is plenty early. But keep testing because everyones body is different and 6dpo is the earliest I have heard of for implantation. Fx!!!

I can see what you are talking about. I would do another test to be sure and keep testing..good luck!

My nipples are really pinchy sore today!! Probably just me over analysing everything but I'm sure it's more than on other cycles! FX I have not just lost it.

Hi girls, sorry it's been a few days. I've caught up so far and I would reply to everyone but today is one of those days just feeling poopy so I'm going as far as the top of of 53. But I'm thinking of you all!

@tropicsgirl I think stress can play a part in things being a bit all over the place, but you've still got time to get a bfp
@Deethehippy is Friday the earliest you'll know or is that when you'll be late? Also if you feel a difference this month over the others it must be a good sign! Also I have IBS, the C kind it's vile but it's all I've ever known in my 27 years of life.
@atx614 to me that looks like an evap, but it's happened to me twice where I've had evaps then they turn into something days later
@FTale it must be so nice being close to your mum. I can imagine how excited she'll be when it happens!

I feel so off and while my frer look flaky my wondfo tests are so sensitive. Who ever so me this box on amazon sold me 10miu.

Here are my wondfo very top two is 9dptrigger fmu and smu.

Next 5 10dptrigger fmu, smu, and noon. I took so many because thought I could see a slight difference.

Lastly, from this morning 3am,530am and 812am. Getting darker??...I thought my light frer with fmu was not right and should be darker so I took some wondfos and sure enough. They are darker than frer.

Tomorrow should yield real results though.

Note: I drank at least 16oz of apple juice before last test..lol thirsty n tired of water

For me this morning not much to report, thought I felt some cramps earlier but maybe just having to go #2 LOL. Although I do have a bit of a heavy/awareness feeling in my uterus so who knows, maybe it was cramps?! I'm 7dpo so of course reading into every little thing at this stage of the game. Some minor breast pain but seems to ebb and flow, not as much as yesterday just yet although it's early days today.

I have a bunch of errands to do today and all I feel like doing is curling up on the couch for a nap!! I'm going to take an hour to chill and look for jobs while watching some TV then I'll head out before lunch to get the errands done. I want to take some clothes to the consignment store (hopefully make a bit of money!), have to go to the Dollarstore for some Halloween things (and I'll pick up some tests LOL), return some library books and pick up some hair bows a local mom makes. It'll take me a couple hours to get all that taken care of.

OH also I had other weird dreams again last night, super vivid and strange and didn't sleep well. Dreamt my husband got annoyed with our daughter and threw her into the crib! He would never!!! What the heck.
