Haha I know the craziest thing was later on in the day a butterfly landed on DD1s bag and DSs foot !

We have our 4 week check up on Saturday!

Not sure if/how much is head has improved since I last took pictures . his hair has grew longer and thicker ! Fingers crossed for an improvement and into the moderate range at least ! Will take more pictures over the weekend

This heat is awful for him ! He’s being a solider though , so proud of him !

Can’t believe he’s been wearing the helmet for 7 weeks today , family and friends have been so supportive !

We are in the orange zone after 7 weeks ! I’m so happy we are out the red zone !


The flat bit I have been obsessing over is completely normal specialist said and that part of a baby’s/normal skull is meant to be flat and she said feel your own and actually mine is flat in the same place !

You can totally see a difference in his head shape when she put the cap on !

We are aiming for a Xmas / New year graduation . Next appointment is in 6 weeks

I’m so happy because she said once he finishes treatment you will really need to look and know what your looking for to notice anything ! This was one of the things I was most worried about !

So today in the shop the lady at the till asks me what’s wrong with his head , this is the first time a stranger has asked me and I think it kind of hit me , that he’s not going to have the perfect head shape for a second. In comes the mummy guilt !

Then she says sorry lovely I’m asking because my son had plagiocephaly and his ears where totally mismatched, one of his ears was closer to his forehead and the other was set back. We didn’t do anything about it and it corrected itself ! She said to this day one of his ears is noticeably bigger than the other one but she loves his unique feature and he’s 3 now ! I loved her confidence and laid back approach .

I just keep telling myself that by the end of his treatment it will be barley noticeable and pray to god that as he grows over the next few months his head will continue to improve !

Yeah I am just going to keep in mind, what the specialist said about having to look for something wrong !

We have only told close family and friends , not looking forward to all the staring from the other mums on the school yard but it’s a good job I have a very good group of Mum friends that are supportive !

Have you found people stare at Enzo ?! Ive had to bite my lip a few times , usually I’d kick off but I just can’t be haha . More fool them my mum
says .

Hahaha I won’t be paying attention to anyone else either when I’m back to rushing around !

Wow I cannot believe how fast that’s gone ! Can’t wait for your update too !

I still just find it amazing how they adjusted to it and the great progress they have both made! We are 9 weeks in this week , gone quick . Will go even quicker once the kids are back in school too and the Xmas shopping starts hahaha

Just back from our appointment . She marked his chart wrong last time so it looks like it’s not improved . She’s going to get us a new chart .

But he’s defiantly at 92% today . She marked it as this on the last appointment when it should have been 93%.

His asymmetry is now 2mm . We started off at 4mm which is within normal range.

We have another appointment in 6 weeks time and then aiming to finish treatment around 19 December. We are still in the moderate range . 5% more would take us into the mild range which I am desperately hoping and praying for !

His head shape has changed so much during these 13 weeks I’m so happy upto now . You can actually see a curve to the back of his head and she can still feel the bone popping out .

Enzo was at 81% brachy and 5mm plagio.. we are almost there hun! We started at 101% and 19mm! Did she say how much longer? X

Yes we are !! So proud of our boys and us mums !!

I can just see the difference which is amazing !

We are hoping for him to have it on for another 12/13 weeks which takes us to 19 December and hopefully that will be the end of treatment which good results I’d say so far ! She said there’s no point carrying on after 18 months because usually there skill has fused . And he’s 18 months in December !


Wow 81% from 101% that’s just amazing ! Is that considered “normal” . I know 4mm and under for plagio is “normal “
