Opinions on whether this is an evaporation line or faint pink positive?

Hi lovelies.
This morning I took the HCG strip test.
I took it at 6am and a faint line came up 5 mins later. The next time I checked a few hours later nothing. But I think only the first Pee is strong this early. I am due my period now. I was having major hot flashes in bed burning hot the other night and stomach hot.
I will recheck in am but what do you ladies think does it look like an evaporation line? I took two pictures ones with a flash and one without.

Thanks for your response! I’m going to check in am. I’m trying not to let myself get excited in case it’s a false positive. I’ll update with a picture tomorrow.

I hope you are right. I never had anything slightly pink before so I’m hopeful and cautiously optimistic, as every time I thought maybe this month it could happen, it has never happened but I’ve also never had a slight pink tone to a line before either.

Hi lovelies!
So unfortunately and sadly no second line whatsoever this am. So I’m assuming it was a false positive or an evaporation line or I’ve tested incorrectly somehow (maybe I dipped it in too far). I will still keep checking every am until my period comes but I’m not hopeful for this month now as there was nothing there this am. Disappointing but I’m very accepting these day’s as I feel like I’m getting used to disappointment along this Challenging journey. It is definitely making me more resilient on the roller coaster of emotions. One thing is certain every time I think I might be pregnant it makes me realize just how much I want to be a mother. For me that took awhile to realize as I had grown up as the second eldest of 9 children in a large family so I was always tending to babies until I left home at 18. Because of being surrounded by babies my whole younger life I enjoyed having freedom and no babies around me in my 20’s and 30’s. Now I have spiritually awakened to how much I want to be a mother and what an amazing bond I will have as I had with my own mother. I wish you all the best in TTC and may all our future children be healthy and happy little people in this world! Okay, I’m being overly emotional now as I got up at 5am to do the HCG strip and I’m on no sleep. I’ll sign off. All the best this month and in future months to you all!

So it’s a few days later and I still haven’t got my period. I’ve been having hot flashes on and off for a week. Mainly 2-3 day’s where it was so so hot I was Sweating in bed.
I have really thick white mucous in my underwear today and still no period. I am not officially late as I range anywhere from 23-27 days and fluctuate each month. I’m on day 26 so if I get to day 28 without a flow then I will test again.
I also have been crying at the drop of a hat. Eating constantly and Peeing constantly but no line even a faint one since that first day which was only two days ago. I’m going to just keep testing every other day until I either get my period or get a line.
This is a roller coaster for sure. Good news is hubby is home so now I have him here which is calming. Anyone experience hot flashes and white mucus around when their period was due?
