Been having ups and downs the last few weeks.
My sons now 6 weeks.
He's currently having 4oz every 2 hours of formula.
He was fully breastfed for 5 weeks but totally not happy constantly hungry crying and not sleeping.
I started him on Aptamil but he was constantly crying and not pooing just straining so after persevering I recent started him on Cow and Gate and seems more settled apart from he seems more hungry...
How much should he be having and how often?
I know every baby is different but it is worth asking you mums for advice :)

At about 2 months of age babies should be having around 2 to 4oz of formula every 3 to 4 hours. So im guessing he is having the right amount.

Its all down to him, if hes still hungry after what you're feeding him, try and extra ounce. I've always gone with id rather them waste a bit in the bottom to know they are full than to drain the bottle and not be satisfied. At 2 months my son was drinking 6oz, which is more than the 'guidelines' say, but i think they are a pile of crap. Just go with what your baby wants rather than the guidelines, babies won't over drink, they will stop when full

following.
my HV told me to ignore the guidelines on the box.
My 2 month LO will have 2-3oz every 2ish hours, including night time.
